Jacob & Skylar Velazquez (Jake n’ Sky) are a 15 & 11 year old brother and sister musical duo (with autism) from South Florida. 

 

Jacob is a musician & songwriter who currently plays 8 instruments and was on season 15 of America’s Got Talent https://youtu.be/YouPjNJyjHo

He was seen also on Good Morning America, The View, the Steve Harvey Show, and has performed in concert with Harry Connick Jr. 

 

Jake currently serves as the Music Director at Potential Youth for Potential Church.  

 

Skylar was recently selected to perform with the Broward County Honors Choir as well as The Florida All-State Orff Ensemble. She loves singing & songwriting and is an aspiring actress. After witnessing Skylar’s stunning lead performance during her school’s musical ‘Cold Snap’, Jacob quickly invited his sister to join his act, and the Jake n’ Sky Show was born! 

 

Together they have performed at the Orange Blossom Festival, Christmas on Las Olas, The Broken Boy Movie Premier, the Special Olympics 2022 USA games and have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity. 

 

Jake & Sky were recently honored with the Spectrum Family Hope Award by the Doug Flutie Foundation for their contributions to families with Autism.

 

Their mission together is to show the world that having autism, or any diagnosis, doesn’t mean you aren’t capable of great things. But it does mean you are unique different and cool.
